Save Our State of Massachusetts

TOMORROW is the deadline for bills to be filed for the new session of the Legislature.

Will your legislators sponsor the “Bathroom Bill”?

TOMORROW is the deadline for bills to be filed for the new session of the Legislature. The radicals who have been pushing for passage of the flawed “Bathroom Bill” are back at the State House to try to convince legislators that it is an important and necessary bill. Last session, our opponents were successful in getting more than 100 legislators to sign on as co-sponsors by convincing them the bill was about “equality” and “discrimination.”

MFI and our allies worked tirelessly to blow the top off their false claims about the “Bathroom Bill.” We put the truth in front of legislators, the media and voters, and that pressure kept the bill safely in committee. But our opponents are back again, and with more money and more emotional pleas.

Next week, “Bathroom Bill” supporters are hosting a “Transgender Equal Rights Action Day” at the State House, and they will be in the offices of your state representative and state senator. They will be pleading with them to co-sponsor this “equal rights” bill, while conveniently omitting the flawed nature of the bill and its direct threats to safety and modesty.

But even before next week’s event, high-paid lobbyists have been working since before the New Year to get YOUR state representative and state senator to sign on as co-sponsors. The shear number of bills that are filed and the requests that legislators receive for sponsorship allow some bad bills to slip through. We need your help to make sure your legislators don’t fall for their PR campaign.

Use this link to send an email to your state representative and state senator RIGHT NOW. Tell them that the “Bathroom Bill” remains a flawed and risky piece of legislation that does not deserve their sponsorship.
