If all the current news from around the globe and in our own country isn’t already bad enough, more disturbing information seems to creep out of the media from everywhere!

Sharia Law Has Come To Florida:    (By Tom TillisonFlorida Political PressSunday, March 20th at 7:40PM EDT)

Go to:  for full story.  (This is an excerpt from the “Red State” post by tomtflorida of article by Tom Tillilson):

“Last week, Rep. Sandy Adams (FL24) introduced legislation that “protects the integrity of our Constitution and U.S. laws by clarifying that our courts should follow and uphold our laws – not defer to those of foreign nations.”Ironically, less than a week prior to Rep. Adams introducing her bill, a Florida judge imposed Sharia Law in a Tampa courtroom, perhaps the best indication yet of just how important such legislation is to this country.”

“In Tampa, Florida, a dispute arose over who controls the funds a mosque received in 2008 from an eminent domain proceeding.  Former trustees of the mosque are claiming in court they have the right to the funds. Current mosque leaders are disputing that claim. The current mosque leaders want the case decided according to secular, Florida civil law, and their attorney has been vigorously arguing the case accordingly. The former trustees of the mosque want the case decided according to Sharia law.”

“The judge (Honorable Richard A. Nielsen, Circuit Court Judge in the Circuit of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County (Tampa) FL, Civil Division, recently ruled ‘This case will proceed under Ecclesiastical Islamic law,’ (Sharia law), ‘pursuant to the Qur’an.’”

National Mediation Board’s decision means minority of company workers can force ALL company workers into union:

Go to: for more details, and for what YOU can do about it.

According to a recent post on SOSMass, President Obama’s goal to force more workers into unions is close to becoming reality since this board’s decision now means that just a minority of workers can force the entire company under union boss control.  What is worse, this would make it virtually impossible for workers covered by this decision to ever decertify their union.   Let your House Representative know through a call/email that you want him/her to OVERRIDE the National Mediation Board’s decision by voting AGAINST big labor’s amendment to the FAA bill. This vote is scheduled for NEXT WEEK, so time is of the essence!  You can also fax your request directly through the “Right to Work” link on the SOSMass website if you prefer.

The letter by substitute teacher Tony Hill was read aloud Thursday as the state Senate considered one of five bills on illegal immigration. Hill wrote that a majority of students who he taught recently at an unnamed Glendale school refused to say the Pledge of Allegiance and declared that ‘We are Mexicans and Americans stole our land’.”

 * * *$2 Billion Financing from U.S. To Brazil for Oil Drilling:

Political Cartoons by Lisa BensonThis news comes directly on the heels of President Obama’s trip to that country.  It seems we should be asking the President and Congress why this huge amount of loan/money is not being used to help restart offshore drilling in the U.S. (including opening drilling in Alaska or along our East & West Coasts), so we can put more of our own citizens back to work and at the same time increase our own production/refining/supply of oil—especially since that Congress let a ban on offshore drilling expire and a recent court decision was made to allow the permit process to move forward. To paraphrase an apt comment in The Wall Street Journal; it’s too bad Mr. Obama is underwriting in Brazil what he won’t allow at home “in the land of the sorta free and the home of the heavily indebted”.

$2 Billion for oil drilling and $1 Billion toward the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics—“Yup” that’s right—see below and read full article at MercoPress.

Excerpt from MercoPress (March 21 & 23, 2011) reports:  “U.S. Export-Import bank loans Brazil $3 Billion USD for oil and World Cup – The US government’s export credit agency has authorized $3 billion in financing for Brazil, including 2 billion US dollars for the Brazilian government-managed oil company Petrobras.

AT&T Takes America Back to the Future:  (From Timothy Karr, Campaign Director, Free Press and  – Posted: March 22, 2011 09:18 AM)

AT&T’s plan to take over T-Mobile has set the stage for Washington’s high-tech policy battle of 2011. But that’s not all that’s at stake. This proposed deal paints a dark scenario for the future of all communications — a future that looks increasingly like a bygone era of monopoly control.   If AT&T succeeds it will form a communications colossus to rival Ma Bell. Two companies, AT&T and Verizon, would control close to 80 percent of the mobile marketplace in America — a figure that could exceed 90 percent, IF (as many anticipate) Verizon buys Sprint.  For the hundreds of millions of American people who rely on handheld phones and wireless Internet devices this equation spells disaster. “
