This grade based on 2011 actions doesn’t reflect any kind of urgency about putting unemployed Americans in your district back to work by reducing the competition from immigrant labor (illegal and legal). Let’s get this politician working harder in 2012.

CONGRESS HAS A LOT OF MEMBERS WHO HAVE FAILED TO GO TO BAT FOR UNEMPLOYED AMERICANS . . .
. . . BUT YOUR U.S. REPRESENTATIVE HAS BATTED ZERO
Can you believe that this Member of Congress is so opposed to the interests of unemployed Americans that the 2011 record of actions earned a 0% on NumbersUSA’s grading system?
Since arriving at the start of this Congress 12 months ago, your U.S. Representative has earned this grade in terms of votes and co-sponsorships that affect how many new immigrants and existing illegal aliens are competing with American workers for U.S. jobs.
I don’t care what your Representative may have said about jobs when campaigning in 2010. The proof of commitment is in the entire first year of service in Congress after being elected. And not once has this Representative co-sponsored one of the many great bills to deal with the immigration competition or cast a vote in favor of less competition.
This Democrat has been able to escape having to take many stands with votes because Republican House Speaker Boehner has refused to deal with immigration problems, too. Your Representative ought to be calling attention to Rep. Boehner’s refusal to allow votes to help unemployed Americans.
The grade above shows that this Member of Congress is far more interested in protecting jobs for illegal aliens and bringing in more legal immigrant workers to compete for jobs than in helping unemployed Americans get back to work.
I want to know how this Representative would like to stand in front of a packed hall of unemployed voters of your district and explain the lack of any effort to stop unfair labor competition from foreign workers.
How was this elected official able all last year to stand idly by while the federal government was giving out permanent work permits to a million new legal immigrants — and allowing 7 million illegal immigrants to hold non-agricultural jobs?

My guess is that you may have already given up on this Member of Congress. But please make sure there is anxiety in that office over how many voters are absolutely disgusted at this behavior that is so callous toward the unemployed citizens of your district.
And if you really want to make an impact,
This Representative is so bad that it may be difficult to push for a better record on immigration alone. But I can just about guarantee you that this office will not like being reminded that it has operated for a year as a barrier to jobless voters in the district getting a paycheck again.
