Since 7am with 14 degree temperatures that did warm up, I’ve been out in the field all day with our candidate Marty Lamb and Marty Lamb State Rep Campaign volunteers at various polls in our district in Westborough, Holliston, Hopkinton, and Southborough. We had sign holders, people handing out literature in parking lots, and people collecting signatures. Marty received a great reception.
We have another after-5pm team out there now. I included some pics at various locations in an album below. The Democrats sign holders were scattered here and there but were out there with signs for multiple campaigns.
Aside from Marty Lamb signs, the other signs were for Denny Drewry running for selectman in Westborough’s town election that also occurred today. The Westborough RTC was well represented throughout the day and held both Lamb and Drewry signs. There was one person with a Ron Paul large 4×8 sign as I left the Holliston polls to go to Hopkinton. Also in Holliston was one person with a sign on the Bullard Farm issue to stop power plants in residential zones. It’s a hot issue in town. In Hopkinton, one of our Lamb Campaign volunteers also held a Bielat For Congress sign.
A recurring theme from Republican primary voters today who were signing my nomination papers for Marty was the following….
“You’re working out here, where’s the rest from our side?”
“I don’t see any signs for Romney or the others.”
“I wasn’t sure we were suppose to vote today. They didn’t get the word out.”
“Where’s everybody else ? Where’s Brown’s people ?”
This album has 13 photos and will be available on SkyDrive until 6/4/2012.
