AUDIT the Fed

UPDATE:

A GAO report from July 2011 revealed the FED bailed out banks and corporations to the tune of 16 trillion in taxpayer dollars.

Audit the FED passes with a huge margin, and bi-partisan support, 327 – 98.  One (1) Republican, Turner (NY), voted against the bill, and then all the usual suspects who shun any transparency in government who voted against it were ALL Democrats.  Pelosi, Wasserman-Schlutz, Rangel, Waxman, Dingel, and Frank’s nay votes come as no surprise, and with no shame, but the other nay votes should be made to explain to their constituents.  They are:

But now the real work begins:

Minutes ago, the U.S. House voted to pass our Audit the Fed bill!

For more information, and to find out how your representative voted, be sure to check www.CampaignForLiberty.org.

Thanks for your help to achieve this historic victory!

Only a few years ago, few would have believed that two thirds of the U.S. House would support a complete audit of the Federal Reserve.

It’s time to further shock the establishment by carrying our momentum over into the Senate.

And that’s where Audit the Fed faces its toughest test yet.

Ben Bernanke and his bankster pals know they can count on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and their other allies to do everything in their power to stop our transparency effort.

With your support today, we can unleash a grassroots tidal wave of action and show these “Wall Street Senators” that who they really should be worried about serving is their constituents – instead of providing cover to the Fed’s destruction of our money and economy.

Any amount you can give today will help us spread the word through email, direct mail, ads, and more!

The energy, enthusiasm, and passion are on our side – and so is a major victory in the U.S. House.

You and I CAN win this fight.

Thanks again for your support!

In Liberty,

Matt Hawes
Vice President

P.S.  H.R. 459, our Audit the Fed bill, has passed the House!

Be sure to check www.CampaignForLiberty.org to see how your representative voted.

And please give whatever you’re able right away to help us rally millions more Americans, carry our momentum over into the Senate, and turn Audit the Fed into law!

Ben Bernanke and his bankster pals know they can count on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and their other allies to do everything in their power to fight our transparency effort.

So C4L must be able to unleash a grassroots tidal wave of pressure on the Senate right away.

Take action NOW!

Try and think of any situation that upon a second look, more isn’t learned.  (The investigation of the Probation Department comes to mind, but imagine if the same was done with EVERY department in the state???)  Then contemplate what normally comes from an audit or an investigation.  Fact is, when scrutiny is finally given to any area, but most especially where government and taxpayer money is involved, long overdue oversight, and transparency exposes the breath to which there has been waste, abuse, lack of controls or outright illegal and/or unethical conduct.  With the non-transparency of the FED, in spite of its vast influence over almost everything, even globally, should there not be close scrutiny, let alone an audit?  This powerful agency that impacts virtually everyone from birth to their grave has never been audited!  Now is your chance to change that.  PLEASE take action on this and pass along:

Debate has started! The vote on Audit the Fed could take place at any time.

So it’s absolutely crucial you call your representative IMMEDIATELY and tell them to vote “YES” on Ron Paul’s Audit the Fed bill.

You can reach your U.S. Representative by clicking here.

But it’s critical you act IMMEDIATELY.

Thanks to all those who have called and have written in to tell us where their representative stands.

I hope you’ll make one more call today so there’s no doubt with your representative’s office about how passionate you are on this issueand how you will hold them accountable for their actions.

As I’ve mentioned before, passing Audit the Fed under suspension of the rules – as the GOP leadership plans – takes a two-thirds majority.

The good news is, you and I don’t have to worry about any bankster-backed amendments designed to water down the bill.  They’re not allowed under suspending the rules.

But it is a high hurdle to clear, so I’m counting on C4L members to flood Capitol Hill with phone calls to representatives from all over the country telling them to vote “YES” on Audit the Fed.

No vote can be taken for granted.

We’ve come a long way in our battle to expose the corruption and fraud at the Federal Reserve.

And today, you and I have an opportunity to pass a clean version of Audit the Fed through the U.S. House and on to the U.S. Senate.

But please contact your representative IMMEDIATELY.

Time is running out, and I’m counting on your IMMEDIATE action!

In Liberty,

Matt Hawes
Vice President

P.S. It’s crucial you contact your representative to demand they vote “YES” on Audit the Fed.

The vote could come at any moment, so there’s no time to delay.

You can reach your representative right away by clicking here.

And you can help us continue this fight by chipping in $10 or $20 if you’re able at this time.
